Family tree history and stories are important to write down and save.  Telling the stories of the people in your family tree will bring it to life. It is not always easy to get kids involved in family history projects. Quizzes are a fun, easy way for kids to share their personality and feelings. The questions help kids share how they feel about a variety of subjects. You won't just come away with some statistics. Instead, you'll gain a view of the real, three dimensional person you know and love.

All About Me Quiz

Help kids tell you about themselves and what matters to them. The answers capture how your child sees the world at a certain age. (And they are great to use for kids of any age.) They will enjoy reading what they wrote now, but it will mean much more to them, and you, as the years pass.

1- How tall are you? (Let kids describe or use measurements.)

2- Do you have a nickname and who gave it to you?

3- Which holiday is your favorite?

4- What kind of pet do you have and what is its' name?

5- What is the name of your school?

6- Name something you are really good at doing?

7- What is something you sometimes forget to do?

8- Describe your room. What do you like best about it? Is it usually clean or neat?

9- How do you help out around the house?

10- What do you think you will be when you grow up?

Kids Favorites Quiz

A kid's favorite things change from day-to-day, sometimes even from hour-to-hour. Use this quiz to capture a moment in time. Kids will love discovering the toy they thought they'd play with forever was replaced with a new one they received for their birthday.

1- Name your favorite food to eat for dinner.

2- What is your favorite restaurant?

3- Do you have one toy you always play with?

4- Name your best friend.

5- Is there one thing you wish you could eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?

6- What is the name of your favorite book?

7- Which day of the week do you like best and why?

8- Do you have a favorite place in your house?

9- What's your favorite thing to sleep with at night?

10- What is your favorite TV show?

Odds and Ends Quiz

We usually remember to save pictures of milestones, birthdays and other special occasions. Yet often these photos don't capture the most important things, like thoughts, feelings hopes and dreams - even the silly things. Family tree history and stories gain a real boost with this odds and ends quiz. It's the perfect way to capture your child's mind in action.

1- Tell your favorite joke.

2- If you could change your name or give yourself a nickname, what would it be?

3- Name something kind you did for someone else this week.

4- What is one thing you would change if you were President?

5- What superpower would you really like to have?

6- Do you think its better to be a kid or a grown-up and why?

7- If you could be an animal, what would you be?

8- How could mom and dad be better parents?

9- Name something you know a lot about.

10- What kind of ice cream is your favorite?

A Fun Way To Save Your Family History

Enjoy using these quizzes to add precious details to your family tree history and stories. Be sure to include the date your kids complete the quiz. You can combine their answers with everyday pictures and artwork they have created to make a scrapbook of special memories. Your child may even want to draw their own pictures to go along with some of their answers. Family tree history and stories don't just have to be about relatives who lived long ago. Remember the little everyday moments you share with your child.

These are great questions to ask a child for a family history interview. Putting it in a quiz format is a great idea.
